Boot is an iOS app for learning computing from scratch, all the way to code.
You progress through micro-lessons and quizzes in a polished editorial design, and it works 100% offline — no connection is required to learn.
Your progress (completed lessons, XP, streak) is saved on your device and synced through your private iCloud. The first lesson is free, with no account; the Boot Pro subscription (€8.99/month, 7-day free trial) unlocks all tracks and lessons.

Privacy policy
Boot is built for privacy. NetMeSafe collects no personal data, does no advertising tracking and operates no server. Some features do use Apple iCloud (under your control). Here is exactly what data exists and where it goes.

What data, and where it goes
On your device
On deviceYour progress — completed lessons, XP and streak — is stored locally on your device. All learning content is bundled in the app and works offline.
iCloud sync (private)
Private iCloudIf iCloud is enabled on your device, your progress is synced and backed up to your private iCloud (CloudKit, private database) to follow you across devices. This data stays under your control through your Apple Account and is governed by Apple’s privacy policy; NetMeSafe has no access to it and operates no server.
Purchases & subscription
Handled by ApplePurchases and the Boot Pro subscription are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. NetMeSafe receives no payment data (no card number, no banking details).
Your rights (GDPR)
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection. Since Boot collects no data on its servers, you stay in full control: reset your progress in the app (Progress tab), uninstall the app to erase local data, and manage or erase iCloud data from your Apple Account settings. Terms of use (EULA)
Use of Boot is subject to normal, personal use of the app: learning computing through the lessons and quizzes provided.
The learning content (lessons, quizzes, illustrations) is the property of NetMeSafe and may not be reproduced or redistributed without permission. Governing law: France.
Unless a specific license agreement is provided by NetMeSafe, the app is governed by Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for licensed applications:

Boot Pro is an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks all the app’s tracks and lessons.
- Price: €8.99 per month (auto-renewable monthly subscription).
- Free trial: 7 days included. Any unused portion of the free trial is forfeited when you purchase a paid subscription.
- Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Billing: payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation of purchase, then within 24 hours before each renewal.
- Manage & cancel: at any time in your App Store account settings (iOS Settings ▸ your name (Apple ID) ▸ Subscriptions).
Turning off auto-renewal lets you keep access to the period already paid for, until it ends. The first lesson stays free, with no account or subscription.
