QuickShot does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
Data Collection
QuickShot collects no data whatsoever. No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no usage tracking.
Network Access
QuickShot makes no network requests except:
- Apple StoreKit (in-app purchase validation) — handled entirely by Apple's infrastructure
QuickShot never contacts any NetMeSafe server.
Local Storage
QuickShot stores the following data locally on your device only:
- App preferences (save folder, image format, hotkeys) — stored in macOS UserDefaults
- Screenshot files saved to ~/Downloads/QuickShot/ (or your configured folder)
- Screen recordings saved to ~/Downloads/QuickShot/Recordings/
This data never leaves your device.
Screen Recording Permission
QuickShot requests Screen Recording permission (macOS Privacy settings) to capture your screen. Screen content is processed locally and never transmitted anywhere.
Accessibility Permission
QuickShot requests Accessibility permission to enable global keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys). This permission is not used for any data collection.
Third-Party Services
None. QuickShot has zero third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or external services.
