A built-in MCP server
SSHive exposes its SSH and SFTP sessions through a Model Context Protocol server built into the app.
In practice, an assistant can read a log, restart a service or fix a configuration file on your server, through your own profiles and your own authentication, without a single key leaving your keychain.

03 Security
Your keys stay where they belong
This is an administration tool: it holds the access to your production machines. It is built accordingly.
Keychain and Touch ID
Credentials and private keys live in the Apple Keychain, unlocked by Touch ID.
No telemetry
The app sends no usage statistics, no identifier and no session content.
Optional sync
Profile sync between your devices goes through private CloudKit, and only when you switch it on. It is off by default.
